Microsoft has placed several widely used Operating Systems and Applications on their DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) list as of April 8, 2014.

As of this date, Microsoft will no longer support or provide critical security fixes for:

Microsoft Windows XP
Microsoft Office 2003 (Includes Word, Excel, etc.)
Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 (email system)
