Event Description: Ancient Egypt comes to Daytona Beach in Teatro Lirico D'Europa's Aida, one of the most popular and spectacular operas of all time. The opera tells the story of the Ethiopian princess, Aida, who is captured and brought into slavery in Egypt. There she meets the military commander, Radames, who struggles to choose between his love for her and his loyalty to the Pharaoh. The touring company presents fully-staged operas with a 40-piece orchestra and English supertitles.
